Gladden Spit

Gladden Spit is where the Belize Barrier Reef stretches furthest from the mainland, creating deep-water conditions rich in marine life. The area is famous for seasonal whale shark activity during spawning months, but even outside of that season, the patch reefs offer hours of exciting snorkeling. Its remote location and biodiversity make it one of the most special marine environments in Belize.
