Hi! I'm Joanna “Jay” Godoy

I own and operate, Jay’s Travel and Logistics, which I created to complement my husband’s Tour Company, Placencia Wildside Adventures!

I’m a stay-at-home mom, and along with my common-law husband, Conrad, we take care of our wonderful family of 3 kids. When I got pregnant, Conrad asked me to stay at home to ensure a smooth pregnancy. To keep busy, I created Jay’s Travel and Logistics to assist with the booking and scheduling process for Placencia Wildside Adventures. As our family continued to grow, with the arrival of our baby boy, Kolden, I decided to continue managing the business while staying at home with him and assisting with Conrad’s other 2 kids, Conrad the Third and Leilah.

Living here in Placencia village, I handle tour reservations and logistics. Conrad used to do it all, from being out-at-sea on tours to answering emails and texts about tours when he returned home. It was becoming a bit too much so we realized I could step in and handle the reservations, creating a win-win situation for us. With that being said here we are at Jay’s Travel and Logistics waiting to serve you and your family and make your trip to Belize a memorable one.

It is my aim to provide you with tours customized to your preferences, provided by local operators who are safety oriented, professional, flexible, while still giving you the most enjoyable experience. I am always researching ways to make the reservation process easier even in an environment with restrictive and limited banking services, I will take what you want into consideration or make suggestions the tweak it to suit how you want your day to go. Our Boats

We offer a fleet of five different boat sizes, with the ability to secure larger vessels at short notice. This allows us to comfortably accommodate groups of all sizes while maintaining a high standard of comfort and style. Our 23-foot panga is ideal for couples and small families, while the 25-foot vessel is well suited for both small families and medium-sized groups. For medium to larger groups, we offer two 28-foot boats as well as a 29-foot boat, all designed to provide ample space and comfort. For larger parties, our 32-foot boat is an excellent option, and for special events or extra-large groups, we can arrange boats that accommodate up to 50 passengers.
